Video Case Study: Multi-pole Magnetization of Motor Rotors—Jiuju Magnetizer

Before magnetization, the motor rotor ”exhibits no external magnetic field” (the gaussmeter reading is zero), making it impossible to drive the motor to operate normally. In this case, the output from the Jiuju MAG pulse magnetizer was used.1128VA strong pulsed magnetic field can magnetize the rotor’s permanent magnets to saturation in just 1–2 seconds. After magnetization is complete, measurements taken with a KANETEC teslameter show that the magnetic flux density reaches57.60 mT...which is nearly eight times higher than that achieved by magnetizing rubber magnetic strips (7.3 mT); both the magnetic energy product retention rate and surface magnetic field uniformity are at the industry-leading level. This process is suitable for applications requiring high magnetic energy products, such as drive motors for new energy vehicles, home appliance motors, and servo motors. JiujuMagnetizerSupports programmable voltage curves, with customizable parameters for different pole counts (2-pole, 4-pole, 6-pole, 8-pole) and different magnet grades (NdFeB N35–N52). Irregularly shaped samarium-cobalt magnets have complex magnetic pole configurations. Combined with the high-temperature resistance and high coercive force of samarium-cobalt materials, this makes them highly prone to issues such as magnetic field non-uniformity and uneven magnetization during magnetization, placing high demands on tooling and process parameters.
