In the field of industrial manufacturing, silicone magnetic products are widely used in smart wearable, sealed components and other scenarios due to both flexible qualities and magnetic properties. The core of the accurate magnetic properties depends on the professional magnetization process. This time, JiuJi Magnetization undertook the project of magnetizing silicone products, and successfully realized the product's magnetic force from 0.01 gauss to 15.5 gauss by leaps and bounds, and the following is the detailed record of the whole process.
Before the project, we first completed the demand docking and basic preparation work. The silicone product provided by the customer has built-in magnetic particles, the initial magnetic force is only 0.01 gauss, almost no practical magnetic properties, and needs to be magnetized to achieve stable magnetic properties to meet the subsequent assembly requirements. The technical team first conducted a comprehensive inspection of the product to confirm its size specifications, silicone material thickness and the type of built-in magnetic material, to ensure that the magnetization process matches the characteristics of the product. At the same time, JiuJu 3000V magnetizer was chosen as the core equipment, which can precisely break through the endowed coercivity of magnetic materials and realize efficient saturation magnetization by generating a strong magnetic field through the instantaneous discharge of high-voltage capacitor after energy storage. Before operation, we strictly implement the safety regulations, check the equipment power grounding, cooling system smoothness, clean up the operating area of flammable and explosive substances, operators wear insulated gloves and protective glasses, and eliminate the wearing of metal jewelry to protect the safety of the operation.
The implementation stage of magnetization is the core of the process, which is divided into three steps: parameter debugging, workpiece positioning and magnetization execution. Based on the characteristics of the magnetic material and the target magnetic force of the product, after several simulation tests, the technicians accurately set the voltage parameter of the magnetizer to 3000 V. Considering the flexible nature of the silicone material, the technicians customized a special positioning fixture to fix the product to be magnetized in the predetermined position of the magnetizer head, to ensure that the product is effectively in contact with the head and to avoid shifting of the product during the process of magnetization, resulting in an uneven distribution of the magnetic force. After confirming that there is no error, the operator retreats to a safe area and presses the start button, the capacitor of the equipment instantly releases high-voltage current, which generates a strong magnetic field through the magnetizing coil, so that the built-in magnetic particles of the silica gel are arranged in an orderly manner along the direction of the magnetic lines of force. The entire magnetization process takes only a few seconds, and the equipment automatically completes the application and reset of the magnetic field, during which the current, magnetic field strength and other parameters are monitored in real time to ensure stable operation.
After the magnetization is completed, it enters the post-processing and testing section. After the magnetic field of the equipment is completely attenuated, the product is carefully taken out and the residual impurities on the surface are removed. A high-precision gaussmeter is used to test the magnetic force of the product, and the result shows that the average magnetic force of the product reaches 15.5 gauss, which is 1,550 times higher than the initial value, and the magnetic force is evenly distributed, which is in full compliance with the customer's requirements. At the same time, the magnetizing equipment is shut down for maintenance, cleaning up the working surface of the magnetizing head, shutting down the power supply and cooling system, and recording the number of products, parameter settings, testing data and other information to form a complete production file.
