Automotive motors have stringent requirements for magnetic performance consistency, and surface magnetic field testing after magnetization is an indispensable quality control step. Even the slightest deviation in the magnetic field can directly reduce the motor’s overall performance: uneven pole strength leads to increased torque ripple, causing NVH-related noise; misalignment of the magnetic poles can reduce efficiency and affect the vehicle’s range; issues such as incorrect polarity installation or localized weak magnetization cannot be detected by visual inspection alone, and if discovered only after installation, the cost of rework is extremely high. Jiuju’s automotive motor surface magnetic field testing solution automatically scans the rotor’s surface magnetic field upon completion of magnetization. It quantifies the peak values, waveforms, and symmetry of each magnetic pole, precisely detecting even the slightest deviations. Defective units are immediately screened out, and inspection data is synchronously recorded for traceability, ensuring the stable performance of batch-produced motors from the source.
